Dr. Amanda McCart


Dr. Amanda McCart is a Georgia native and a “Double Dawg” graduating from the University of Georgia with a B.S.A in Animal Science in 2016 as well as a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Her interests include surgery, preventative medicine and ophthalmology.

Dr. Amanda is active in the Christian Veterinary Mission organization and serves people and animals on an annual veterinary mission trip to the Navajo and Apache Reservations.

She loves to spend time with her husband Taylor and their fur family of 2 dogs, 1 cat, a horse and their miniature donkey, Smokey. When she’s not here at The Healthy Pet she enjoys leading worship at Eastridge Church in Covington, cycling, and horseback riding.
